so another exciting trip i wanted to share

as always on any trip , we leave early in the morning , exactly what we did in this trip too.

we left delhi on 17/07/2010.

first day : way to vaishnodevi.
saw this Guy




and some army men.


at night we reached katra. don't remember the hotel in which we stayed.

Day 2 : 18\07\2010

We started the yatra. and the weather was awesome , amazing weather. you will get to know that after seeing the photos

day 3 : 19/07/2010

we packed and left for delhi. so overall it was a 3 days trip.

but when returning back dad saw the road leading to Mcleodganj.
and asked us if we want tp go there or not.

i had my very first day of my college on 21/07/10 so i was reluctant
to go but i guess we needed some more time off and decided to
go mcleodganj as well.

these are 2 pics clicked on our way to mcleodganj.




unfortunately
we also saw 2-3 accidents on our way and had to stop at one accident
stop because the accident happened just 2 minutes ago and
the condition of the car was not at all good.

so we reached mcleodganj and started to look for hotels. as always
checked 2-3 hotels and decided to stay at SAHIL PLAZA \ PALACE.
( confused if it was plaza or palace )
we took the Maharaja Suite. The fineset room of the hotel and it was amazing.

this is a pic of the room and it was huge.


we specially took the 3rd floor because of its balcony. see pics below

and it offered a very nice view. amazing view i should say.

as always took a hotel which had its parking.

Vaishno Devi is also amongst my most frequent visited places per year(afterall my father is a strict follower of Maa,in fact me too).

Have I seen two guys riding pillion of a bike with a monkey having the handle in his hands?

Day 4 : 20/07/2010

i woke up around 8:00 clock and after coming to the balcony i sw this.

and i was like whaaatttttt. the best place i ever visited. just loook

at the pics



































amazing right ?


then after this went to the mall road for breakfast. i saw dad and mom
eating pakoras and drinking tea. what else

my sister and i decided to go for something else.
and there were ots of cafe's there with american , tibetan etc etc food

i ate pancakes with hot coffee. very good food and they
even offererd wifi connectivity. how cool is that.

then we heard some noise and went there and this is what i saw. i saw Dalai lama. what an honour. he is like a god for all the tibetans.

Then in the evening went to a buddihst temple. here are some pics.


















after visiting the temple we decided to roam the mall road. and it started raining








and when coming back to the hotel i saw something which
i coudn't believe.

what ?

a gaming parlour , yes a gaming parlour.

there is not so much of thing to do there or in any hill station for boys

after coming back to the hotel and when the rain stopped i immediately
went to the parlour and saw 3 big size lcds and gaming consoles.


and the price " 50rs for an hour" just 50rs. i spend 3 hours there.
bu only restriction was only 1 game for 1 hour. you cannot change within 1 hour.

on 21/07/2010 we left for delhi and i missed my first college day. but i don't regret the decision because mcleodganj was the best place i ever visited.
