Toyota India today launched Corolla Altis Aero, which is nothing but a normal Corolla altis with a body kit package and its production is limited to just 500 unit's.

Toyota Corolla Altis Aero features
Alloys Wheels
All-round Skirts
Rear Spoiler
New Interior Upholstery
Aero badge on the rear

OK, here is the downer

It comes only with the Petrol engine,

I guess Toyota is just trying to get rid of the petrol engined car's from their dealer's stockyard.

Anybody Interested? - I doubt it.

Re: Toyota launches Corolla Altis Aero

Saw this in today's TOI..
Isn't Toyota offering this kit as an after market fitment too?
If yes, then my car is already there in their workshop for 8-10 days and I'll try to get very heavy discounts too on the kit.
Actually I am interested in this, the car looked quite good in the pic.

Thanks for the info 350Z.
I feel Toyota must have done something to the Front Bumper (Especially the Grill and Air Dam).

The Black altis looks very nice with the Spoiler!

Actually thats not true buddy because the new Camry is all changed. The exteriors have been updated and the interiors are totally changed. I always liked the camry but would never buy it, just for one single reason "INTERIORS".
But the new camry looks so cool and classy after they changed the interiors.

Yes you are right buddy. Actually now days most the manufacturers are doing the same kind of thing. Toyota getting looks from their premium brand Lexus, volkswagon from Audi and Nissan from Infiniti. And the new Accords from the Acura. Especially the interiors.

Weird strategy. The base variant is given some features (alloys) and free accessories (spoiler, aerodynamic bumpers, seat covers, chrome tip) and they call it a limited edition variant?

Agree it is a desperate attempt to push non-selling petrol variants. Not convincing enough though.
