Toyota India has reintroduced the Innova Crysta in its diesel version today. The diesel version of the Toyota Innova Crysta has been arguably the most popular MPV in the Indian market since its introduction back in 2005. Last year the company stopped taking new bookings for the diesel version while the bookings for the petrol version continued. Then around the introduction of the Innova Hycross the Innova Crysta was taken off the Toyota’s website.
Today Toyota India has announced that it is reintroducing the Innova Crysta Diesel in four variants - G, GX, VX and ZX. The company has also commenced with the bookings for the same. Bookings can be made online and at autorised Toyota dealerships across the country for an amount of Rs 50,000.
The new 2023 Innova Crysta Diesel has notable design and feature changes as well. It now features new front fascia, 7 Airbags, Front and Rear Parking Sensors, Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) and Hill-Start Assist Control (HSA), Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD) and Brake Assist (BA), seats are equipped with 3-point seatbelts and headrest, Rear Auto AC with Digital Display, 8-Way Power Adjust Driver Seat, Smart Entry System, Seat Back Table, TFT MID, Leather Seat Color Options( Black & Camel Tan), Ambient illumination and One Touch Tumble Second Row Seats. It also comes equipped with a 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple Carplay.
Toyota has introduced the 2023 Innova Crysta Diesel with the 2.4 L diesel engine and manual transmission, it has two drive modes - Power and Eco. Like the previous version it is also available in 7 and 8 seating layout for G, GX and VX version and the ZX is available only in the 7-seating layout.
Commenting on the occasion Atul Sood, Vice President, Sales and Strategic Marketing, Toyota Kirloskar Motor, said, “As we open the bookings for the New Innova Crysta Diesel today, we would like to share with our customers that their favourite MPV is now available in four grades. With both, the New Innova Crysta and Innova Hycross, now available for booking, across dealers and online, we are happy to say that our customers, who have aspired for their favorite Innova have a choice of multiple powertrains to enjoy their drive”.
