Toyota Inaugurates Regional Stockyard in Haryana

Toyota Kirloskar has inaugurated its first regional stockyard in North India, situated at Faruknagar in Haryana. Following are some of the highlights and how it will benefit the consumers:

• Toyota’s Faruknagar stockyard is spread across five-acres with a parking capacity of 900 vehicles.
• It’s a second such stockyard for Toyota Kirloskar, after its first regional stockyard in Guwahati which was setup in 2020 and mostly benefited North-eastern region.
• Faruknagar stockyard will aid in speed, flexibility, cost reductions and CO2 reduction as dispatches from the plant to the stockyard will be maximised through trains.
• Presently, 60% of total dispatches take place through trains and Toyota aims to increase the same to 80%, while being able to deliver 5,000 vehicles per month.
• New stockyard will also reduce delivery time from the current 6-8 days to a maximum of two days for dealers in Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Uttaranchal and Jammu & Kashmir.
