the full time 4WD is a killer! i remember some SUV (is it the captiva or the outlander? or is it the X5?!) has a switch on the dash where you can actually shut off the full time 4WD & the car will be a 2WD!

Or even a better option would have been having a separate 2WD variant of the Fortuner , that would have been better as the cost would be less and 2WD is sufficient for us i guess!!


Yes many other SUV'S also do have that switch , i don remember the names though!!

why don't you use the fortuner and replace the innova with your scorp?

He is getting only only 6kmpl , though he drives a little fast!!

I heard Fortuner gives around 10KMPL. And this is one of the USP of the vehicle.

May be rajeev will confirm, after he gets his hand into it.

Met a chennai reg fortuner at a alignment center here ,

he said its about 8 to 9kmpl at 100

6 to 7kmpl at 130+

replace my scorpio with the innova... are you kidding? unlike the fortuner, i bought the scorpio because i really wanted it & not because there was no other choice! do you think i will ever replace my scorpio?

for me, my scorpio is much better than my innova.
