As Toyota’s flagship model, the Fortuner has won many hearts globally and in India.
Since its launch in 2009, the Fortuner has been dominating the SUV segment in the country, conquering about 75% of the market share. The upgraded Fortuner that was introduced in November last year has received a phenomenal response with average monthly sales of over 2000 units and cumulative sales of over 21,000 units.
The Fortuner TRD Sportivo has undergone a series of changes to satisfy the requirements of even the most demanding customers, he added.
Bookings of the Fortuner TRD Sportivo will begin today along with vehicle display in all Toyota dealerships across Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Jalandhar, Ahmedabad, Pune, Chandigarh, Ludhiana and Lucknow.
A mere cosmetic change is of no use & if demanding a premium for it is unjustified. TRD stands for Toyota Racing Development & this variant doesn't mean anything related to TRD. If its more related to cosmetic changes then there are better kits from Thailand, which looks much better and imposing.
TRD should have made following improvements:
1. Better handling suspension with less boat roll(In Fortuner more than the body roll, boat roll is prominent).
2. Sporty interior color theme.
3. Better sounding music system.
4.Pitch & Bounce though better controlled than the previous Fortuner, has got scope for improvement.
5. Improved NVH
6. Better Sounding exhaust- Would have been segment first.
7. Gear shifts can be made sharper.
Welcome to the forum and congrats for the beasts.
Which do you like more ? And why?
Out of the 2 which is more city friendly, i.e. easier to manoeuvre in the city? OR do you prefer a small hatch for the same?
I am owning Fortuner since Nov 2016 and have Completed 76K & having Endeavour Since Aug 2017 and Completed 31k
I like both, both have some positive n negatives
As you have asked,
In City Endeavour is Better, being AT and Electronic Power Steering and is less bouncy.
I prefer Wagon-R in City (you can See in the Background)
