I finally found vent tabs for the AC vents -from Aliexpress. They were a tight fit, but after 2 weeks they have become a bit loose, now they work fine. Cost - 66Rs for two tabs with free shipping

The above Vent knobs were made of cheap plastic. They dint break, but deformed in a months time, even during rainy season, when temperature in car is pretty low. They are useless. I will check second hand market for a good working assembly.

still using those cheap vent knobs. had got a quote of 10K to replace with 2nd original parts, but now so used to those so much that they are now ok.
