The Sea of The Pain

I visited Aspin Wall, which is one among total 12 Locations. The best three attractions and its details are already published in international journals. The Sea of Pain is also included in the attached video(soon).

The Sea of Pain, Raúl Zurita

Venue: Aspinwall House

Wading through a stretch of seawater may force you to question the fundamentals of this democratic world where we have drastically failed to protect the lives of minorities, refugees and immigrants. Chilean poet Raúl Zurita explores the meaning of meaninglessness through his installation The Sea of Pain. The immersive installation is dedicated Galip Kurdi, the five-year-old brother of Alan Kurdi (who became an icon of the Syrian crisis after photographs of his lifeless body were shared around the world, spurring humanists into action). Take your shoes off and immerse them in the seawater to admit our collective failure for living in a system that is inhuman and incapable of saving people such as the Kurdis.

Every evening they are arranging workshops for children. Very informative. Children will enjoy. Another interesting display is the incandescence lights. The text is readable only through lens or camera. Just below photo as we see the light. The next one is the text formed by these bulbs. Enjoy.

I got a chance to travel in ferry service from Cochin to Ernakulam. It was a memorable trip. I found this big ship, Queen Elizabeth II on the way.

Cherai Beach

I was on vacation and visited few places. Unlike in earlier years, this time no time to explore other states, only in Kerala.

Recently visited Cherai Beach. Cherai is 30km away from Ernakulam, located in North Paravoor. Cherai is famous for resorts, and the beach is very neat and clean. This is a must visit place. Few photos attaching.

This beach is a big one, long stretch, half fully covered with proper foot path, while the the other half is covered with sand. It is worth spending some time around. Lots of private resorts. Suggest to stay at least for a day. Few restaurants with traditional food and they are also offering sea foods.
