hee hee.. no worries we will win. Time to tame British in SL

why MSD put efforts in last overs only and put India at stake. He is the best ODI batsman but at same time not at all good in T20I as his strike rate is just 110.

The most excited, thrilling fun filled rivalry match yet to come on Sunday India VS Pakistan.
No more evening plans scheduled on that day, prior to that Friday India facing Australia.

Somewhere i feel Group 2 (IND,PAK,AUS,SA) is much more stronger than Group 1 (SRI,NZ,WI,ENG), could someone explain the stats how the teams was setup.

There were four groups in qualifying rounds as A, B, C and D. Each groups had 3 teams and two of them qualified for super 8.

Now consider A1, A2, B1, B2, C1 , C2 , D1 and D2. All with suffix 1 are the having maximum point in each group with suffix 2 were 2nd in the qualifying round.

e.g: Group A : India, Afghanistan and England : Since India and England qualified based on the points.
India has maximum point in group so India is A1 while England is 2nd it's A2.

So the case with other countries in the respective groups:
AUS (B1), SA (C1) and Pakistan (D1)
WI (B2), SL(C2) and NZL(D2)

Now in super 8 , we have two groups : E and F.

E consist of A2, B2, C2 and D2 - Eng, WI, SL and NZL
F consist of A1, B1, C1 and D1 - Ind, Aus, SA and Pak.

For better understanding : refer cricbuzz

Now time to tame Pakistan, Aus and SA.

Believe me India performance is directly proportional to strength of opponents.

Thanks Ertiga for the explanation, but don't you think its unfair selection of the teams compared against weaker teams, they should have shuffled two teams from each group E and F to well balanced competition. The real fight starts only after Semi.

Anyways India tough chances ahead, Go and break their nerves..! Good Luck.

It looks to be a pathetic show from Indian side today and Australia may end up winning without loosing a wicket[cry] some thing looks to be seriously wrong today !!

Yeah that might be one of the cause, but what happend to others ?? these days especially after the world cup win last year our guys are bit relaxed and forgetten that T20 means attacking game either it is batting, bowling or fielding. Hope they get the mement in next game with pakistan as they are in terrible form[:)]

Though I am big fan of MSD but when it comes T20 International matches he is the major reason for India lost.

In last match, he took a double in the last eight balls he played before getting out.

In India, against NZL he scored just 20 runs in 21 balls and India lost. So MSD is the culprit and he should give the captaincy of T20 to Gauti and other WK like Uthappa or Naman Ojha can play. We are having strong middle order so it's fine if MSD gets replaced.

India Vs England 2nd Test. India 137/5 Pujara still going strong at 60. Dhoni at the crease, is this the kind of pitch Dhoni wanted from day one?
