2) the stock gear lever had additional fittings to incorporate the EGS.

yes, the clutch was present & manually operated. this one is not an auto transmission which means only gears are electronically shifted, clutch is manually operated.

NO. Clutch is where the actual FUN is. I personally hate the AT's.

This car (though difficult) should have been real FUN to build.
