I am also booking Zest XT Diesel at AutoVikas Motinagar this weekend, but they are asking me to take my vehicle once delivered for High-Security Number Plate to Paschim Vihar by myself.

No other dealer of any other brand is quoting this thing. All are putting number plates at their centers only. Did you also encounter same thing?

I was also asked to collect the same from Mayur Vihar because as per them it takes 2-4 days for number plate to get ready. And if they were to get it installed, I had to wait few more days.

Basically HSNP is fit at RTO only by govt. appointed special agency, & every car owner has to take their car to RTO for that. After fit the HSNP, they even take the photo of car owner with car with HSNP. So I think this rule is every state in India.

No, this rule is not applicable in Delhi and every car dealer except AutoVikas is installing them at their center only. I saw them installing at Hyundai, Maruti, Volkswagen, Honda, etc., in front of my eyes. Only this particular dealer is very specific about this thing.

Below documents have been provided related to AMC. Make sure you get this document signed because, only 3 free service coupon have been provided which cover only 2 years. There is no coupon for third year.

This is what owner manual says. IMO, there is some disconnect between their owner manual and the AMC document. That's why I am recommending to get the AMC doc signed and keep it safe. We might require it at the time of service.

"Your vehicle is entitled to three free services (labour only). The free
service coupons are attached to the sales invoice. Please present these
coupons to the servicing dealer while availing free services.
1st free service - At 4500-5500 km. OR 3 months whichever is earlier
2nd free service - At 14500-15500 km. OR 12 months whichever is earlier
3rd free service - At 29500-30500 km. OR 24 months whichever is earlier
All services other than free services are chargeable."

Feeling really happy to see an Indian Car making so much big wave in market as well as here. Good Job TATA. It seems their Sales Network & ASS is not rejuvenated to push more Zest.

Congrats on Zest. currently Blue color cars are dominating the road. After the presence of Amaze, Zest is coming like a arrow.

Wish you a happy miles ahead with good ASS from TATA.

Car has been run for 250 KMs till now and I am getting 10.5 KM/L with AC ON in City. Hope it'll increase to 13-14 KM/L in City after service.

Didn't get time to take her to Highway. Will update once I do so soon.

If I were at your place, I would go to another dealer saying I want to purchase in cash. But funds will be available by Nov end. So will take delivery on Dec1. If he agrees I would book with him.

Same time I would say to existing dealer to hold the car till Dec1 without any further payment. And wait till Dec1 and go with the dealer who can deliver as there are no cancellation charges.

Dealer told me hi will arrange a new car by 20 nov for sure for me
