Hi All, I need an expert advice for new buying a new tyres.
I have Tata vista 2012 quadrajet & planning to change both front tires. Currently it has 175 65 R14 now; buying this I find it costly for me, it around 4800-5000 per tyre.
Some tyre dealer suggested to go for 165 70 R14 for front which will cost me around 3400 per tyre, apollo brand tyre. Is this ok do have smaller size tyre? Will there be any long term issue with my car?
I mostly I drive in city but have long trip every 3-4 month around 600km. An expert advice require for same. Thank you in advance.

It is not advisable to have different sized tyres on front and rear axles. Driving dynamics will surely be affected for the worse. Not worth it.
You may look at Ceat tyres. They may fit into your budget.

Thank you for the guidance. This surely adds up and majority has suggested me same. :) I am going for 175 65 r14 Ceat or Apollo
