Well,I am using Sony Xplod in my Innova and JBL in my i-10,both of them rocks,still I find the bass of the JBL better while the quality and thump of the Xplod more clearer..

Yes its your feeling only!!
Even before entering to high end audio stuff and car modding , the normal audio installation which i did years back one had to fix sony mono and xplod sub and found them good, even a thread lies here about that.
later on over the year , still wanting for the crystal clear audios , landed in modding job and it helped to explore .
you will change your ideas when you hear with good head unit , well proportioned boxed and subwoofers like idq , alpine , rf etc plus a great matching amp will surely blow your mind!
Entry level , any day the jbl has a edge over the xplod. with both almost equal!
