Instead of being a special set of facilities only for luxury vehicles, Autonomous Driving Assistance System (ADAS) is slowly making its way to mass mass-market cars. According to the latest information, Tata Elxsi, a company that develops Tata Motors electronic software for budget-oriented cars, has developed its platform for autonomous driving.
This platform can be retrofitted in any vehicle. Autonomous driving platform was being developed by The Tata Elxsi for the last ten years. It started with the image processing required to operate a lot of driving AIDS.

Like any other ADAS setup, a set of radar-based sensors and cameras has been installed in the platform developed by The Tata Elxsi. The company claims that all components of this platform are conducive to autonomous Level-4 driving, which means you will get a complete self-driving facility without your hands on the steering wheel.

The Tata Elxsi has already developed auto-parking systems to solve the problems of drivers who struggle with gauged and parking with limited view. The system uses different techniques.
These techniques include a Photo-realistic simulation environment called ''V-DRIVE," An autonomous driving middleware stack called "AUTONOMY," ADAS Algorithms for camera monitoring systems and V2X verifications devices powered by augmented reality.
In a YouTube video uploaded by The Tata Elxsi, we can see the Data Tiago equipped with this system. After you have started this system, you need to train the vehicle first by creating a trajectory for park-in sand park-out, which are stored in both vehicle memory.

The Tata Elxsi believes that there are some challenges in the way of effective development of ADAS platforms, including high cost of software, wrong lane marking on roads and lack of awareness about traffic signals and ADAS among the people.
