Re: Tata Aria Comprehensive Road Test Review

@Xover,
Can you explain one reason why they cant upgrade the ice/Info dispaly of Aria with chromatic touch screen ?I hate it like no other thing!
If they can provide touchscreen in Manza, they can easily do so in Aria. But the problem is placement of the screen.Aria's GPS screen is set very deep in the dashboard, which makes it very inconvenient for any user to use it as a touch-screen.Thus Tata only gave LCD navigation with non touchscreen feature.

LCD touchscreen is only posible if they position the GPS on the central console itself, which because of design constraints is not possible.

Re: Tata Aria Comprehensive Road Test Review

^even the autocar review mentions it as an MPV. Sad for this crossover inspite of good reviews.
Thus indirectly implying it to be compared with the innova.

If Tata think so,I would say it is utter nonsense.they should have a look at dash board of Pajero sports.

Pajero Sports's touch screen interface is ergonomically very good for the driver. In Aria its quite far away, the driver would literally need to stretch his whole body out in order to access it.Thus Tata have gone with non touch screen LCD interface.

As a prospective buyer I would say thanks to Tata and say goodbye.

I dont want such an ergonomically flawed car in my Garage. If they couldn't place such a simple interface optimally then I am sure there could be many other things going wrong which is not evident to common man's eyes.

I will go for XUV500 the next best choice.[evil]

Not me.
It was for a friend of mine whom I suggested Aria and he got disgusted with it.I think he will go for XUV5oo.

Re: Tata Aria Comprehensive Road Test Review

According to various reports flowing on the net, next month TML shall launch Aria A/T.Now apart from 6 speed auto box what excites me most is 400NM of raw torque.Even Fortuner's engine can't produce this much torque.Aria A/T should be extreme fun to drive if the extra torque and power is apt(read useable)!!

Re: Tata Aria Comprehensive Road Test Review

Tata Aria Pure Lx is now officially launched at 9.95lakhs ex-showroom Bengaluru:Tata Aria Pure LX introduced in India at 9.95 lakhs

At 9.95 lakhs it's way more loaded that literally any other car of the segment be it Scorpio or Innova.

Only Storme is ahead as it has got music system+bluetooth at the same price point ,though it misses dual AC which Pure LX has got.[:)]

Now Tata should do aggressive marketing of this product with a tag line ,

"India's first crossover now at 9.95 lakhs only".[:)]

I still wonder why the hell TML do this again and again. I mean Launching a cut price variant after such a long time of the original product. Had it been the other way round in 2010, i mean if they would have launched it in 2010 than the story could have been different.
1.) At that time they would have launched it at Rs 9.5L
2.) They would have attracted a lot of Safari EX buyers to go for this.
3.) Some of the taxi people will prefer to get the car at that price point.

Similar thing they are doing it Storme:

1.) They should have come up with LX pure variant at 8.99L
2.) 4x4 must have been offered in all variants starting from the base LX pure
3.) Pan Indian launch should take place at the time of original launch
4.) No ad or intense publicity is done.
