I don't think Sachin is 'only' playing for money. Most people forget about his love for this great game cricket.Parting with cricket is like parting with his life and perhaps even more...a truth which 'only' Sachin and few of his REAL admirers know.
Guys no reason to hate him.He can play till time eternity cause there never again will be a player that will make our nation proud like he has done. The current problems of Indian cricket go much deeper than bad form of Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar. While I understand the anguish but let us not transform us into juvenile media folks who after one century say a player is GOD and after he fails he is the devil Lucifer himself.
It's not a media creation that Sachin has become a liability to the team, and you cannot hide behind the saying "form is temporary while class is permanent" or some other blah blah blah....sack all non performers...in any case, with this team India is not going to do well against quality sides, so it's the right time to infuse fresh blood. Sachin is proving to be an obstruction for those players who have been toiling in the domestic circuit for years. Now, there is no room for surprise if the word "selfishness" is echoed again.
Well on the one hand we say that we haven't found true replacement for Rahul Dravid,Saurav Ganguly and VVS Laxman, which simply means that the youth of Indian cricket has failed badly at the test level.Where is our no6. flip flpo Suresh Raina, flip flop Yuvraj Singh,Flip flop Ravindra Jadeja;whilst on the other hand we say that Tendulkar should be replaced,by whom another failure!!
If Tendulkar is the burden then what about our other batsman and even our spin bowlers which were out performed by British spin bowlers in the last series??
