Congrats for booking your Eco boost, but I'm quite surprised that a part of the Essential equipment has now become an optional addition, what next would be to add bonnet and front bumpers too?

Engine Guard was not standard for Petrol variants of Ecosport. I had refused during delivery and Ist service to get this for my Ecoboost since Ford has not considered this necessary, Diesel variants get this as standard because of the Diesel sump being vulnerable.

Sorry for the late reply. Engine guard or sump guard is skipped by many manufacturers sadly. I'm glad ford provided one as an accessory at least, Honda couldn't even do that.
