Actually supreme court has banned use of films etc on glasses.
But in this case we can use metal plates instead of glasses on rear doors.
Result:No glass-No law..if there is any glass then thullas are free to remove anythign from them...

Can we close this thread as there already is one on the issue and also because there are no viable legal alternatives to sun control films that can be used on vehicles as of for now. I guess the thread can be opened once the appeal is heard and when there comes a change in the current Order that is in force. Till then I personally believe this thread is pointless. Its your call.
True that. Hence, closing this thread until there is actually some ‘legal’ alternative to the sunfilms in India.

(Note: Posting it here as there is no closest topic to discuss the following).

Although it’s not officially legal to put anything on the car windows. But here’s how the various businesses are exploiting the situation by releasing new products to substitute the sun films. More interestingly, this side curtain is priced at whopping 3,750 bucks (set of four).
