I dont know about any offers now but u cant stretch your budget huh??? i still believe sony cybershot is the best when it comes to digicam's. i myself own a 12.1MP sony cybershot worth 13k!!! the photo clarity is awesome and sony just rocks!!
Yes, Vibhor, go for SONY
me too owning a sony cybershot 8.1MP cam. paid 19,999. its just above ultimate.
The thing is that I strictly don't want to stretch the budget above 10k for a digicam. Till now what I've seen, The Kodak C180 10MP seems the best deal.

Remember you are not going to buy another one in the next few years, so try and get the best for your usage. Don't mind increasing the budget a bit.

The best Digicams available are very few!

1) Canon
2) Nikon
3) Sony

Try to choose a model in Canon or Nikon.

Hey 350z,

My genuine advice, please don't go for Kodak. My suggestion would be to go for Panasonic LUMIX DMC-TZ7. And it will fall under your budget, if not than LUMIX DMC-TZ6 for sure.

I'm using LUMIX DMC-TZ5 and it's just awesome.

Take a look at the pictures I have taken from it.

if you are interested in photography i will recommend you to go for a nikon d40, its a entry level dslr. the only two drawbacks of d40 is you have to take pictures through the view finder only and you cant take any video.

Any Specific reason for Kodak not being included in this list?

Thank you Grandeur. These images are awesome + You Magical photography skills have added the beauty to them which I'm sure no cam or a newbie person like me can do. Could you tell me the price of this model?

Hmmm. Kodak is still not upto the mark in quality of the lenses & overall Build quality!

So try to get a Canon, Nikon or Sony!

I was even impressed with Panaasonic T-27, but they have stopped the production of that model.

I even tried out in Panasonic world, I didn't get that!

I'm glad you liked my photographs.

I'm sure you'll get Panasonic LUMIX DMC-TZ7 for less than 15k. My friend recently bought LUMIX DMC-TZ6 for 10K around.

Go for this. you won't regret!

Hmm...
Still in confusion as other cams are exceeding that budget. I think I'll go for the 10MP Kodak C180 which perfectly comes under my budget currently.
