The headlight on my Honda Dio 2006 model is very poor. So, I was thinking of converting from BA20D to H4 bulb too. Is the Osram bulb good ? How long did it last ?

Also do I have to cut any wires ? Also, do I have to buy a retaining clip and a dust cover ?

Do you have any video that I could refer to? It will be very helpful for me.

Thanks in advance.

Needs wiring cutting. Have to scavenge the old headlight coupler. No harm to original vehicle wiring harness.

Yes, new retaining clip and dust cover needed. Clip can be from any H4 or HS1 headlight unit. I doubt it's available off the shelf. Just wander around a mechanic's place and can easily find one lying around or ask him for an old one. Cap is available off the shelf. Mine is from FZ. That can also be sourced from a mechanic.

No video. I think fully explained in my post here >> Dio to H4

Condition of old tyres. Alignment issue is clearly evident against the false claim of the mechanic. Front was Ceat Zoom, which lasted 18-20k km and the rear Michelin Pilot Street 13k km.

Changed oil too. Oil change has become a frequent business with the high miles clocked by the Dio, hitting 2-2.5k km in 2-3 months. Oil prices also rising steadily. Bought Shell this time.

Shell Advance AX5 20W40 - ₹ 420.00 (MRP ₹ 428.00)
