Hey cooldhaya!

JBL CS-1205(1100w) will cost you 3500+1500 for enclosures.

JBL GT5-A604 320-Watt - 4 Channel Amp - 7000

Wiring Kit - 2000

I think this setup will do enough wonders!

And where are you put up ?

I can help you finding the ICE Experts!

I dont understand why people are suggesting you to go on with a mono and leave the speakers un-amplified.

The worst move in my opinion.

What i'll suggest you is start from basics.

You have a pair of speakers, Good.
Which one are they?
Are they in front or rear or both?
Are they components?
If no, do you like the sound coming off them?
What head unit are you using?

4500rs for enclosure is theft.
I'm sorry to say that ilango but you just can't quote any price.

cooldhaya, pm me , if you want to know about some good decently priced dealers around your region.

Also , you do not need 2 subs and never go on the max power of the subwoofers. Those ratings are ****.

Always check the rms rating of the subwoofer.

buddy, you simply cannot run 2 subwoofers with a 4 ch amp! they will need a mono amp.

secondly, you dont have an amp for your speakers, so powering 2 subwoofers with amp is useless as you wont hear any song then, just the thump of the bass.

also, 2 subs & amp wont come in 15k.

first, you should go for an amp for the speakers. (approx 6000 Rs.)

then buy a single subwoofer for starts (you can add a second subwoofer later) & buy a mono amp. both would cost approx 15000Rs.

@ zinam thanks for the info bro. i am put up in anna nagar west near sboa school. wat abt u??any ICE experts in my region??

@ abhinav head unit is pioneer , in verna we dont have front speakers , i hav pioneer speakers in four doors as well as the rear. no they are not components. sound is good but not enough thump coming from the rear speakers!! if i close all the windows and doors then people standing a few feet away from the car can obly hear the thump!! hope u can understand this!!

@ raj thanks for the info bro. i will go and speak up with a dealer and keep you updated.

The price is for custom designed fibre glass enclosure. The sub will not eat up your space.

I hope you got me . This one compromise almost very low boot space ,and gives you the great punch , with the walls of car that is being used is damped(cost inclusive)

Normal wooden enclosure is just a 700/- , you can find this in my orkut albums (2 box in my marina's boot)

And cooldaya's need is just a bass sound to be heard outside. so you dont need amplifiers for the speakers.

Yeah i also agree that just one sub woofer is enough for his need.

yeah this must help cooldaya's need. this one is normal fixation done.
Except the wooden enclosure cost 700/- and the wiring kit 1200/-

Man what a mess this all is [shock] New people reading this will go nuts.

@ neil and raj budget maybe max of 15k i guess.

@ raj so suggest one sub will be enough for a sedan like verna huh buddy?? i thought 2 will be cool!!! currently have a pioneer cd mp3 head unit. with 300W woofers in the rear. wanna maximise the effect, its not enough!![:)]
----------Next Post------------
and i also jus want to add two sub woofers along with amp with the exsisting speakers itself.

Anna Nagar west. Try Technocrat on Nelson Manickam Road, or Radio ware House on Anna Nagar 3rd avenue.
Believe me. The best bet for you is to put a decent 2channel amp with a ported sub in the rear. No need to amplify the speakers in this case.
Amp from Blau Or Alpine, Avoid Sony.-7k
Sub- JBL -5k
Wiring Kit JBL-3k
Installation maybe 500-1000 extra.
You'll Be Happy.

if he does not power the speakers properly & connect an amp to the sub only, then the boom of the woofer will overshadow the music & even the lyrics of the song. that would not be desirable i think.

thats the reason i recommend power the speakers first, atleast the front ones & then the sub. so buy a 4 ch amp & a sub, power the front speakers using 2 ch & bridge the remaining 2 ch to power the sub.

4 ch amp- 6000
sub- 7000

this is valid if the current pio speakers are in good shape.

Try the ones which Race said! But price is on the higher side [frustration]

Apart from that i would suggest Car Jewels in 14shop!

The pricing is good & installation is pretty clean!
