Speakers For Hyundai Verna

i have already installed pioneer speakers in my car. now i want to add a 4 way amp and also 2 sub woofers of 1100 watts or above. can you people suggest good brands of speakers for my car?? i live in chennai, will be useful if i get the rates also!!

buddy, as neil said, please mention your budget.

anyways, if budget is not an issue, go for a 4 ch amp (JBL is a good brand) for the front & rear speakers.

if you are keen to install two subwoofers (it might be an overkill but its your wish), you will have to opt for equally powerful mono amps.

again, for subwoofers, JBL or ground zero is good.

@ neil and raj budget maybe max of 15k i guess.

@ raj so suggest one sub will be enough for a sedan like verna huh buddy?? i thought 2 will be cool!!! currently have a pioneer cd mp3 head unit. with 300W woofers in the rear. wanna maximise the effect, its not enough!!

so you mean 15k budget is for subwoofers & amp?

is your current pioneer woofers running on amp? if yes, then fine.
if no, then you have to buy a 4 ch amp for the speakers first, else the sound of the subwoofer will overshadow your speakers.

after connecting the 4 ch amp to the speakers, i think a 1200W single woofer will be enough for your verna. yes, if you want to shake the entire neighborhood, then you can buy 2 woofers!

BUT- 2 woofers + mono amp for them wont come in 15k. so i will suggest you go for a single woofer & connect a MONO amp to it, it will rock your car. it will be equally cool as enough 'thump' will be heard outside your car too!

For 2 subwoofer go for a fiber enclosure .

To save space , an enclosure on each side will help.

no i think i dont have an amp in my car. so how much would a 4 ch amp and 2 woofers cost approx?? i live in chennai and prices may vary right?? from your suggestions i think i can go for JBL finally.

I figured it to be a pio head unit, connected to two 6x9 rear speakers. RIght?
And you want to add woofers to the setup. Lets see then.
Budget- 15k

Two woofers, and amp, impossible.
i suggest you increase your budget a bit.
Mono and single woofer will take up almost 20k.
Entry level woofer from jbl or pio - 4-5k
Mono Amp- 10k
Woofer enclosure, wiring, installation- 4k.
Option 2
Entry level woofer- 4-5k.
A good two channel amp from alpine or blau or jbl - 7-8k
Enclosure & Wiring- 4k.
This is the only Viable option for you to go for. Run the Amp in bridged mode for the sub.
