Skoda MissionL Concept Revealed

The Frankfurt Motor Show continues as Skoda has introduced the MissionL concept. Built to preview an upcoming model - that will be launched in Europe, Russia and China in 2012 - the MissionL is a five-door hatchback with a prominent grille, a bulging hood and a panoramic glass roof. It will slot between the Fabia and Octavia in terms of size and price. Detailed specifications weren't released, but Skoda says the car will have class-leading knee room and over 500 liters (17.6 cubic feet) of luggage capacity. source - worldcarfans.com

Now that looks like a really futuristic car from Skoda. And an interesting name too. I think it provides us a hint of what the company has stored in for us in future.

Looking great indeed. But where are they going to place this car in India? The Fabia is a premium hatch here and the new Octavia(Lauretta or Rapid) is coming soon. Its going to be difficult to place this car in between both of them , the price gap is very minimum.

Don’t know if it will come to India but if it does Skoda might place it in between Rapid and Laura.

Update! Skoda has also released the new official photographs of Vision-D Concept. It is almost identical to Mission-L and both the cars are rumored to be notchback and hatchback models of next-generation Skoda Octavia respectively, which is slated for launch in early 2013.

Nice pictures 350Z, the vision is indeed nice, looks classy and posh..i noticed she changed between the last and second last pic oops apologies are we are talking abut the car ?

on a more serious note the car is a bold design from Skoda - we are used to conservative designs , looks like skoda wants to take a leap.
