We are not going to be very aggressive in premium segment as of now strategically as unless you produce cars in India they are not competitive. Our focus as of now is to establish Etios brand and make a good, respectable position in B Segment. We don’t do two things together. The next two years, 2011, 2012, will be dedicated on Etios. We will continue to import when the new model comes in. When the model changes we cannot import the old Camry. We will start getting new Camry from second quarter of next year. If we place the order in April, we will get it (in India) in the middle of 2012.

Re: 2012 Toyota Camry spied

Woah, that is some camouflage.[shock] Apart from the lines you can't really make out what it looks like. Nice stealth mode and pain in the eyes.

+1 to Jalex well camouflaged! But i think without a diesel heart it will lose out to the Superb!

Re: New Toyota Camry Spy Shots!

This time Toyota has another nice opportunity to regain their position in the D-Segment with New Camry. Looking at the undisguised pictures (below), I simply have to say that it's looking even meaner and futuristic, but the heavy road presence which the existing Camry has, will be missed.

Finally Camry will get the face lift it deserves. Although the overall shape is similiar to the current model, the fresh sculpted front grill is adding an aroma to the face. LED tail lamps at the rear are giving an excellent look to the rear profile, though, the thick chrome garnish is looking not so good in pictures.

Looking good but that bulky feeling is not there. I cannot say much whether it is for the good or bad but certainly a change is always good.

To me, it just looks as a bigger Corolla Altis!

Yes. This is the New Generation Camry as the difference has been posted by recycle-art. Meanwhile, Toyota is teasing the audience with these shots.

Re: New Toyota Camry Spy Shots!

Camry has definitely come out of it's so called descent and sober looks and is a lot more aggressively designed this time. However, I feel the nose is going a bit disproportionate, or is it just me?

Toyota, can we have this in India plzz plzzz?

Looks like the Camry has finally got the makeover it truly deserved. This one makes its presence felt on the street by what it looks like in the pictures
