Dear Mr. Vipul,
Greetings. I just wanted to congratulate you for amazing and informative review sprinkled with good humor and wisdom. Immensely liked it and infact read it over many times to enjoy the neration. I was browsing around for information to decide on purchase of classic 350 and your review was very helpful. Especially the engine charecteristics and engine life calculation in simple terms which was deciding factor. Great job. I ended up booking and waiting for 9 months to get my Silver Classic 350. Now into owning for 18 months and 10,000 kms on ODO ( 9,000 KMs must have been only on long haul cruises), I can relate to your analysis more so and my smile is only growing into a big grin. Mann, this is a bike to savour like old wine, and behold like a time less piece of performing art thing. Played with in perfromance envelope, the bike gives you sublime performance, no maintenance niggles, no surprises and overall a very reliable and confidence inspiring machine. For stats, my cruising speeds are about 70 - 90 and occassional 100-110s. My overall mileage so far is about 48 + KM/pl. Longest and fastest haul is 200 kms in 2 hrs 20 min. and my feel for the bike is Nirvana on wheels. I can say, its a pride that RE is made by Indians and pride of India. Surely, quality of the bike is an absolute must and never ending exercise that RE team must put to keep the RE a pride of India and Pleasure of Ownership.

Keep your good work going,
Best wishes,
subu

Addition to your review vipul sir now the classic comes with rear disk brakes too which makes the bike easy to stop now and the review is simply fantastic. But now there are many on road and most are maniacs riding with modified silencer giving the pataka sound.

Yo Vipul, This is one of your best and honest write ups man. Take a bow for gifting this thread to TAI [clap]. I am not a fan of bullet and have wondered why there is so much craze for this bike, especially among the younger crowd in recent years. Thanks to your coverage on that area as well, now I know a thing or two about this bike [:)].

BS-VI Royal Enfield Classic 350 Gunmetal Grey arrives at dealership

The BS-VI Royal Enfield motorcycles have started to arrive at the dealerships. Here's a walkaround video of a BS-VI Royal Enfield Classic 350 in the Gunmetal Grey colour, courtesy YouTube channel Infinite Miles with Shashank. The walkaround video gives a detailed look at all the changes on the bike

As seen in the video, the design of the BS-VI Royal Enfield Classic 350 is nearly the same as that of the BS-IV model. There are, however, noticeable changes to the instrument console of the motorcycle. The cockpit witnesses the addition of a low-fuel warning and engine malfunction/warning indicator that is visible on the space next to the keyhole. The same region also houses an ABS indicator.

Along with the upgrades to the engine – in the form of a fuel-injection system that replaces the carburettor on the BS4 model – to make it comply with the upcoming BS6 emission norms, the updated Classic 350 also gets two new colour options: Stealth Black and Chrome Black. The previously offered Signals Airborne Blue, Signals Stormrider Sand, Gunmetal Grey and Classic Black paint options will continue to be available. Bikes painted Stealth Black or Gunmetal Grey will come with alloy wheels and tubeless tyres as standard.
