Road Taxes Hiked in Kerala

In Kerala road taxes hiked on the basis of price instead of engine cc.

For cars upto price Rs.5 Lakhs road tax is 6%
5L to 10 L - 8%
10L to 15L - 10%
above 15 L - 15%

Yeah. so for a car between 5 to 10 lakh , 2% increase in union budget and 2% increase in tax in state budget. thereby a 4% increment.
