Petrol, Diesel Prices Hiked Again; Petrol Nears ₹ 95/Litre Mark In Mumbai

Petrol and diesel prices touched new record highs on Saturday after state-run oil marketing companies (OMCs) yet again hiked prices for the fifth consecutive day. As per a notification from fuel retailers, petrol price in Delhi was increased by 30 paise from ₹ 88.14 per litre to ₹ 88.44, while diesel was hiked saw a hike of 36 paise to ₹ 78.74. With the latest revision in fuel rates, it took petrol to an all-time high of ₹ 88.44 per litre and ₹ 94.93 per litre in Delhi and Mumbai, respectively. On Friday, the auto fuels in the national capital retailed at ₹ 88.14 and ₹ 78.38 respectively.

Petrol Prices Breach ₹ 100/Litre Mark In Sri Ganganagar, Rajasthan; In Metros Fuel Rates Go Up By Around 27 Paise

Fuel prices have been increased for the ninth consecutive day in India, and petrol has finally breached the ₹ 100 per litre mark today. In Sri Ganganagar, Rajasthan, state run fuel stations are retailing petrol for ₹ 100.13 a litre, witnessing a 26 paise hike compared to a day before, while diesel is priced at ₹ 92.13 per litre, after a 27 paise hike. In the nation's capital, Delhi, petrol is being retailed at ₹ 89.54 per litre, touching a new high, while diesel prices in the national capital stood at ₹ 79.95 per litre, both registering a 25 paise hike compared to the previous day. At the same time, in Mumbai petrol prices have touched the ₹ 96 per litre mark, witnessing a 25 paise hike compared to a day before, while diesel is being retailed at ₹ 86.98 per litre, after a 26 paise hike over the previous day.

Fuel Price Today: Petrol and diesel prices hiked for the eleventh consecutive day in Delhi and crossed Rs 90-mark per litre on Friday as India has urged global oil producers to ease production cuts. According to a price notification of state-owned fuel retailers, the price of petrol was increased by Rs 31 paise and stood at Rs 90.19 and diesel at Rs 80.60 per litre with hike of Rs 33 paise over yesterday's price, respectively.

Fuel prices resurge after 3-day break. Check revised rates

The country's petrol and diesel prices continued its northward march on Saturday, after a three-day break, taking its retail rates to unprecedented levels and burning holes in the consumers' pockets. Oil marketing companies raised the pump price of petrol and diesel by 24 paise and 15 paise per litre on Saturday. With this, petrol is now priced at Rs 91.17 a litre and diesel Rs 81.47 a litre in the capital.

Across the country as well the petrol and diesel prices increased between 20-30 paise per litre depending on the level of local duty at the state level.

Fuel prices slashed for first time in 3 weeks; check prices in metro cities

Petrol and diesel prices were slashed for the first time on Wednesday (MArch 24) by oil marketing companies, after they remained unchanged for 24 consecutive days. In the first reduction in rates in over a year, petrol price was cut by 18 paise per litre and diesel by 17 paise a litre as international oil prices tumbled to the lowest since early February.

Petrol price was cut to Rs 90.99 a litre in Delhi from Rs 91.17 per litre, according to a price notification of state-owned fuel retailers. Diesel now comes for Rs 81.30 a litre in the national capital, down from Rs 81.47 previously.

Petrol And Diesel Prices Drop In India After Remaining Unchanged For 15 Days

Fuel prices in India saw a marginal drop today on April 15, 2021, after a hiatus of 15 days. In the country's national capital Delhi, petrol prices stood at ₹ 90.40 per litre after seeing a drop of 16 paise, while diesel rates fell 14 paise to ₹ 80.73 per litre. A day before, petrol and diesel were priced at ₹ 90.56 per litre and ₹ 80.87 per litre, respectively, in Delhi. At the same time, the country's financial capital, Mumbai saw a 15 paise drop in both petrol and diesel prices standing today at ₹ 96.83 per litre and ₹ 87.81 per litre, respectively.

The state-owned oil retailers on Sunday increased fuel prices across the country. Domestic rates of petrol and diesel have been hiked by up to 24 paise a litre and up to 27 paise a litre, respectively. This is the fifth price hike this week and the ninth instance since May 4, when oil marketing companies ended a hiatus in rate revision post assembly elections. With the latest revision, petrol and diesel are being retailed at ₹ 92.58 per litre and ₹ 83.22 per litre in the national capital. On Friday, fuel rates were increased by 29 paise per litre and diesel by 34 paise a litre.

The oil marketing companies on Sunday increased fuel prices for the twelfth instance since May 4, 2021. Petrol became costlier by up to 17 paise a litre, while diesel soared by up to 29 paise a litre. With the latest revision in fuel prices on Sunday, petrol has breached ₹ 100 per litre mark in six districts of Vidarbha in Maharashtra. In Mumbai, petrol is inching towards ₹ 100 per litre mark, which currently retails at ₹ 99.49 a litre. Other cities in the state where petrol rates are already close to ₹ 100 per litre mark includes Thane, Jaipur, Kolhapur and Nashik.

Petrol prices breach Rs 100-mark in Bhopal, Rs 99.94 in Mumbai | Check revised rate

After a day's hiatus, the prices of petrol and diesel were hiked on Thursday. Petrol rate in Mumbai neared ₹100 a litre after fuel prices were raised again. Petrol prices have been increased by around 23 paise and diesel by around 30 paise, according to state-run fuel retailer Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) data.

Petrol in Bhopal today costs Rs 101.77 per litre after an increase of 24 paise while diesel costs Rs 93.07 litre today.

New highs! Petrol above Rs 100/L in Mumbai, Rs 94 in Delhi; Check revised rates

Petrol is now priced at Rs 100.47 per litre while diesel is available at Rs 92.45 per litre. Notably, petrol price had breached Rs 100-mark in the country's financial capital on Saturday after a hike of 25 paise. Fuel prices in India have gone up again after remaining unchanged for two days. The price of petrol has increased by up to 28 paise, while diesel has become dearer by 30 paise. In the nation's capital Delhi, the price of petrol today stands at ₹ 94.76 per litre, which is 27 paise more than the previous day. Diesel, on the other hand, is priced at ₹ 85.66 per litre, receiving a hike of 28 paise.
