I agree with others on the suggestions they had given. Your running supports Petrol and you should consider the petrol vehicle only as many suggested. As far as ride quality is concerned, Asian cars have soft suspension as compare to the European counter parts. A.S.S of VW is not bad if you are OK with the premium tag attached to it. Jazz is a good car with ample space inside but with soft suspension. Brio I am as such not sure but would be having soft suspension like her sister Jazz. So take a call before closing the deal.

If I were at your place, I would have taken Jazz or Polo over any other car.

Test drive the Polo and all your questions will be put to rest. VW A.S.S. is getting better but dont expect it to equal maruti.
10 km of travelling daily doesnt warrant a diesel car i suppose.
Polo petrol is good VFM and lot of discounts going on petrol version at present.
