If this is how the bike looks pre-restoration, then why are you wanting to ruin the original looks and waste your time? [anger]

Yes the bike looks in a fairly good condition even without restoration. Even my dad used to own an Yezdi , later he completely moved to cars. Waiting to see the finished bike.

Well, then it isnt exactly restoring.

I guess it would be more appropriate to call it touching up.

Meanwhile electro plating work has started .

Posting some snaps of silencer before plating.
Parts given for plating -

yes restoring in the sense since there is a 4 th gear slipping problem need to change from piston cylinder gear selector onwards.
Carb is not orginal its that of lamby's. [:)] So need to change that.

ok i i have sand papered the existing parts paint. Nice intense time taking work it is.
Well primer coating for some parts are finished along with putti work. Painting will be given to another booth so i dnt knw wether i can clk photos of it.
Am planning to apply Du pont Scorpio Black
