I am not familiar with this model either. However, I can say that JVC is a trustable brand for ages. Considering that JVC KW-XR816 has been awarded with the Australian InCar Award 2010, it should be a value for money product.

This JVC model is costing me Rs 13000/-
Front comps - Illusion EL 6.1 - 6000/-
Rear coaxials - JBL(infinity series) - 4500/-
installation - 1000/-
total - 24500/-

This setup is coming into my budget.

Please let me know whether this configuration is fine or not???

Any updates Nik? The setup seems to be fine but using a single din does not waste that space , you can use that space for storing several things.
