Thank you Vishwas,XOVER, Surfer & friends for your breif details about Vista. I will never change option from Vista[evil].

As I already Mentioned "VISTA IS AHEAD THEN OTHERS "

I showed this webpage to my friend. After some hard discussions,my friend finally agreed to TD Vista.

On Tuesday(13th Dec) I took my friend to TATA motors at Vellore & asked TD for Vista. He took the TD Vista, I was in Co-driver seat,

He enjoyed the driving, he crusied 120km/hr, I not felt any vibration in the car. I asked him to go slow, after seeing the Speedo only he came to know that he was in 120km/hr. we went for some 40km from tata motors, While return to Tata motors I drove the car, I really felt happy to drive Vista.

After returned to Tata showroom he said, he is going to book Vista on Next week with his father.

My friend thanked me for suggesting a good car Vista. I felt proud at that time.
Hello Sir,

I am new to this site and am planning to buy a diesel hatch back. I am in a same confused state as you were @ the start of the post, wondering which one to opt for Liva/Vista VX. Can you please let me know your experience with a TATA car in terms of performance / service / quality etc please help me out in this.

Think he got the delivery of Vista few days back, but to tell you Vista has best features, comfort and equipment levels than Liva, but the main part is the service backup it has got, it's not at PAR when compared to Toyota, Well there's only one good service center in Bangalore which is Concorde motors.

If you are too concerned on the quality and nothing else Liva is good, but if you want a VFM vehicle then Vista is a good option.

BTW why don't you consider Ritz? it would also be added to your list.

Hi venu, welcome to TAI buddy.Confusion what confusion don't worry cause now you are a TAIan[:)].

Take a look at my post which i wrote while suggesting Appu which car to go for, and if even after reading this you are in confusion, i am sure Appu will help you further. Now take a look :

Dear AppU why are you wasting your time in this debate go and book toyota etios, quality class car, it has wonderful quality inside,in it you will get :

1. Single wiper just like the cheapest car of India- nano.

2. The ugliest interiors as one can think off.

3. You won't need to take your early mornings bath in rainy season, as the water seepage inside it would save you precious time reaching the corner office.[lol]

4. One of the worst and sluggish diesel motor that you can get currently.

5. Who says you go for tata- a pathetic indian company, go for toyota enjoy the service and at the end the bill of service would be 5 times more than tata----after all the bill also has to be Q class.[;)]

Thanks for the reply Vishwas... after going through the posts and a few good suggestions by friends, I have decided to go for Vista Quadrajet Sedan Class....I felt it is a good VFM car .. will be booking it by toda or tomorrow. :)

I did not like the leg space in Ritz + the waiting period for Maruti cars is very long..

Thanks again..

Advance congratulations for Vista.
As long it has the national engine at its heart, never ever it will let you down Plus awesome ride quality. more over it has been more than 2 years of the launch of Vista so all the issues had been taken care (considering Tata car) .

Liva owners are not so happy as far as I have known ,one of my nearest friend is very disappointed for huge service bills and poor NVH.
he has mentioned "Q class" as - "Questionable class" -after 6 months of ownership.

The names suggest it all,

Q-class - Q lena hai? (Why/Kyun bother considering)

"S"edan class - S (yes, go for it)

That's the choice and believe me you will love it (with experience of 6k+ KM in about 5 months)
