You are lucky. But how come you are getting such a virgin engine? Was that a accident vehicle?
Ya bro, there is a market for accident vehicles in cbe, they get those cars and de assemble all parts like engines doors interior wiring like stuff and sell.
All cars are total loss vehicles.

Radiator after cleaning.

Finally the heart has been transplanted. :)

The swift engine has all parts in same place, even old wiring of palio suited in exact spots.
The changes where minor.
The wires from ecu to engine like below suited well as same as palio .
Map sensor
Coolent temp
Injectors
Glow plugs
Fuel pressure sensor
Fuel pump control
Oil temperature sensor
Oil level sensor
Etc

But few did not match.
Engine coolent temperature assembly was taken from old engine because the temperature switch was different in swift engine and wiring did not suit,so old assembly was switched to suit, which was in good condition.
Turbo intake housing was facing upwards in swift engine where palio faces down to the intercooler so the intake side assembly ie.outer cover of turbo.,(the casting part) was changed it, but not the exhaust side and vaccum switch oil body and turbo fins also intake casting inner part which holds fins was intact.
The catalytic converter was taken from swift, old one was full of oil , where new one costs 26k we bought it for 1k in exchange of old.

Note: fuel pump has two ports in and out of fuel, it will look different in palio engine but it also has same two ports, just cut the tubes and join it, also fuel filter was from palio.

Other things done.
Gear box fitted like cream in the new engine where few changes have to be done, there will be two metal bushes which seats over gearbox ,you must replace those from old engine and you are good ti go.

Hydraulic power steering was bit of a trick, thanks fiat had left housing for power steering in engine block even in swift engine, only thing is the engine seating has to be switched from palio engine to swift one. Even the holes for those was pre drilled in factory. In swift engine. Ie fiat manufacturing.

There are two belts from main flywheel.
1 for tensioner , ac, water pump
2 from flywheel to alternator and power steering.

Engine wiring was done and seated with gearbox and made into palio with 0% error.

Now the awesome moment:
We connected radiator and intercooler and fuel filter lines to engine and ECU main plug from engine wiring.

Inserted the key and cranked for 10 seconds ,no response.

We forgotten to fit 12v regulator line which supplies pure 12v to ecu, also we changed
Oil and oil filter .

Then few cranks and in 7th sec engine was up and running.

What a happy moment it was.

Engine was so silent as palio engine sounded like old generator.
New heat is so strong. Let happy miles much for new heart transplated palio style .

Note. Egr value is in bs4 standards looks different than in old engine, but wiring matches.

Thing's to be done
Ac compressor had worn out only 100ps pressure was found in compression test, as mech. Say its a rotor type than new generation piston type, repairing is not advised. Will find one from old paio total loss soon :)
Gas filling will be 1.5 k
Radiator and intercooler is cleaned refitted .
Cololent tank will be replaced
Power steering oil and gear oil will be changed which we forgot to do while engine change.
Doors 3 way opening ie step by step opening assembly has to be greased in all doors.
New wipers
Washer pump chk
Engine wiring taping and securing.
Fuse box check
Obd error chk

Pls recommand if any. For new born :)

Drove the car for few kms, wow what a change, car feels like a premium hatch, engine is very silent even in 3k rpm, turbo can be heard ;), its a all new beast, at turbo kick in car gallops like a horse as it has been kicked in its butt, :D . loving it.

2.25lacks hot cash :) in total.
Ya you can call me, thanks for the complements :),
Stingray does well , its a eye catcher, mostly all std waggy owners look at me in a different face , i like it.
But now a days i can see more stingray on roads than before .
Its not a body roller like scorpio its a soft ridder, you can surely fell when you are cruising on highways , you sitting on a cushioned sofa, it gallops all pot holes and stuff, only problem is the effect when you pass a speed breaker in an angle , car swings me.

By the way palio is a sporty type suspension, hard and stable, but jumps in high speeds due to hard suspension in rear! But can only ve felt if you are in rear seats.

Its really a heart transplant. Great to know you sourced it cheap and that adds up to your kitty .For next 10 years you have an almost niggle free engine. One question remains ,is it alright to swap engines in TN? AFAIK its illegal in Bangalore. But I think you know the solution [;)].

No its not legal, but its rare police chk engine no, only no plate and RC and insurance is important, if any thing is not right in it, they proceed checking the engine no.

Hi sting,

just a suggestion please check the engine performance with the obd and monitor each and everything before put it to regular driving if anything suspicious please get it re tuned may be AFR is different with the fiat and Suzuki tuning, make sure that nothing goes wrong with the engine again.

Ya,we also thought about it, mappings will differ, but anyway we use same engine , there will be no difference in AFR,
because.
Same air filter,
same air mass sensor
Same fuel pump,
same fuel pressure sensor
Also the ECU is fiat tuned for palio.
Only engine is changed.

Only if
Bore and strokes are different we have to think about remapping in this case.
As other parts are same,to consider.

Also ecu knows amount of air and fuel going to be injected, minor changes in hardware will not affect the performance.

Just think like this
Same car
Same engine :)

Update.

We opened the dash to check why ac is not working.

We found many weird and amazing stuffs

We found obd adapter hanging near firewall beneath passenger side.

Found windshield ac air hole from blower was sealed by duct tape

All cables connecting the ac vent options like face, leg, windscreen was stamped and was out of place. Which can be fitted back

A key with a tata logo near fire wall
As others said it may be the engine immobilizer default key, it gives some signal to ECU.

Engine temperature gauge was not working due to a circuit break beside the instrument cluster, we soldered it back , now its working well.

Gonna take dash for painting , choosed dark chocolate brown as colour

Note to say one thing .
Fiat build quality is awesome mann!
Way better than many.
You have to own one to feel it!

Removed the tail lights which was having black paint on it,done by previous owner,yo make it look smoked, which did not look well.
We used thinner and removed it at ease.
