Hello Guys,

My Chevy Beat 1.2 LT is awaiting delivery (pending registration). I would be taking delivery on Tuesday or Wednesday.

I was looking for some accessories for my car hence asked the dealer for quote. He provide below quote (including installation):

1. Security System
(a) Autocop 2170 - Rs.4800
(b) Autocop 5170 - Rs.5800

2. OSRVM With Indicator - Rs.3950

Please let me know what you think of the quotation above.

Also let me know in case I get the Security system installed from outside, will it void my warranty?

Appreciate your help [:)].

Regards,
Imran

Re: Query regarding price quoted by dealer for accessories

Security systems comes outside at 2.5k but m sure that dealer will tell you that it will void warranty. Better take it from dealer but ask him to discount it and tell him actual price.

OSRVM With Indicator
You can get pair outside at Max 3k

Re: Query regarding price quoted by dealer for accessories

Normally manufacturer's dealerships offer accessories at higher price than outside shops. But the problem is, if the electrical (or related) accessories are installed from outside, it will immediately void the warranty of vehicle. Just try to negotiate hard for a better deal. I got my 5170 at a price of 4800. it had more features like immoblizer. For 2170 dealer quoted me 3800. Then don't go for security system from outside, it will void warranty.
