They are famous for screwing up every brand they dealt with. The new service center is Sarathy, which should be better than Deedi on any scale (though they screwed up your disc).
Yeah, they have screwed up a few times before as well. After they changed my clutch, the clutch came off from the main bolt (twice) while I was riding the bike. But, at least they were courteous enough to come to my home and fix it the same day both times. And in the case of the disc, replaced with a new disc without any fuss once they got convinced that there was a bend. These are all the best that can be expected from a KTM considering what I have seen in KTM service centers from other states.

Indeed, great thread with great detail. Spotted a maroon Kinetic in the background and a black one [:D]
Hehe yes, they're my dad's pride and joy

Right said, the rear MC got stuck up and had to repair it. Replaced in Duke instead of rebuilding without knowing it could have been repaired.
I'll reply here since its more relevant - with my bad front MC, I just replaced it out right. For the rear, I was toying with rebuilding it and I had the same conundrum as you. Do I spend 37x rs for a rebuild kit or get a new one? I just opted to get a new one. Surprisingly, new rear MC, with the reservoir and hose was 650rs from the KTM showroom, as opposed to 750 for just the rear MC alone from bajaj. paying < 300 for all fresh parts was absolutely worth it IMO.

The new front MC from KTM was 30xx rs, with the adjustable brake lever itself costing 19xx rs. I should have bought the Duke 250 version which came with the regular levers and the same MC but it worked out well as I got the adjustable clutch lever too.

Right said, new one makes sense in both cases. 650 for the whole set was a steal. I didn't bother to check with KTM thinking it would cost more compared to Bajaj and ended up with Dominar MC. Found RE uses the same rear MC while checking GT's. RE costs more than Bajaj, exact figure unknown.

December 2021 - Battery Replacement

The battery was acting erratic with quick discharges. Console showed low battery at aroung 2 minutes without engine on. Checked warranty card and it was well within replacement period. Took it to the battery dealer. Thanks to RE switching to 8Ah batteries, there was severe shortage. Took almost 10 days for the replacement to arrive. Process was otherwise smooth except the delay.

Fresh stock, December 2021 make. Price hiked by ₹150 from 2020.

Updated the old warranty card with the new replacement battery's serial number. Warranty is from date of sale of original battery, as standard procedure, but previously we used to get 2+2 warranty on the replacement, may be glitch on their end.

No warnings just the oil level is low from looking glass but it's really high while running or soon after shutting down also gear shift has become splendor like, it was not like this before.
Similar symptoms, possibly same issue. Ours had debris from gasket maker. My friend's RC390 also had the same issue. Better to get it checked.

Hii bro did you manage to repair your abs module? I'm also from tvm and is there any option to get it fixed. Do not have the option to replace it cause it's almost 23k rs for a new unit.If there is any way please do tell I would like to get it fixed mainly cause my speedo is showing false readings. Already had checked the speed sensors and abs rings and they seem to be working fine.
