Hey toughguy good to see you back in action. I did some action after Nainital, on the yamuna expressway, before it opned. Oh how can I tell you about the experience. I have dont have any words. Its a Marlyn Monroe for drivers [;)]. I did 180km/hr on my Punto. Risky, but worth it. I am planning a trip this sept, maybe Renukaji or Siriska

Day-2: Nahan to Renukaji lake

Date: 18-08-2012 (Saturday)

Route taken: Nahan-Jamta-Renukaji (40KM-1.5 hrs)

We started our day quite lately, reached Renukaji lake from Nahan around 1:00PM. We took Nahan-Shimla road which is currently in very bad state due to ongoing road widening activities, we left this road after Jamta from here on road is in great state. We found climate quite humid and hot all through out this route, route was scenic but not among the best.

We reached at lake entrance and paid 250 bucks for car entry fee and 20 bucks for camera, lake was looking mesmerizing in monsoons also spotted few wildlife in the zoo along the lake.

We spent couple of hrs around the lake and then had boating inside the lake for half n hour, after boating we had snacks at HPTDC Renukaji, it is advisable to have snacks at HPTDC Renuka instead of shops along the lake which are overpriced.

Find below pics of day-2
