After boosting my engine to 14 PSI boost pressure and Engine managment (ECU) playing up with it , I have almost lost my engine .

Today I dropped my car at mechanic to put a whole new engine in it.

What I am getting
RB25DET Long motor ( no gearbox)

Engine it self comes with Intake manifold , AFM , Stock Blow off valve , Stock Injectors , Stock coilpacks,Turbo (nissan factory)

RB25DET ECU (Computer)
ECU harness (Loom/Wiring)
Instrument cluster

What I am removing from old engine to put on this engine
- Front mount intercooler
- Nismo Radiator
- Pod filter intake
- Kakimoto 3" Exhaust system by Jasma

What I am selling
- Bosch Spitfire coilpacks ( $700 for new)
- Denso Injectors 550CC ( $798 for new )
- Boost controller
- Standard ECU (100$)
- Cusco Oil Catch Can ($150)
- R34 Skyline Turbo ($300)
- AFM (air flow meter) -$100
- Engine head and bottom end (5-600$)

I am paying for the engine change and installation job $2400

I think it would be good to get a BOV installed.

It will better spool time during gear change (Throttle body closing and opening in quick succession)

nice to see your car back in action !!!!!!!

Check the wiring loom for continuity. Also try running a wire directly to the ECU to see if it works. If this does not yield result, you may need to replace the knock sensor.

The other (not safe) mod is to use a resistor and do away with the knock sensor altogether. The resistor keeps the ECU happy with a constant "no knock signal".

Hope you get it sorted real quick.

HICAS Issue was solved

The wiring I had to do all manually

The wire runs from the Transmission to the rear wheels HICAS ecu sitting in the boot and then it gets amplified and goes to the Valve on the Steering Rack that opens up Full when car is stationary and when car starts moving the voltage drops from 12V to lesser .

Achilles are the tyres that you get here for skylines and Supra's they are pretty famous amongst the drifters.
Kumho is the other brand that is very good value for money.

I had Achilles wheels R18 235s on rear for a week and then the car got stolen.

Well this thread is still open for any questions you may have
thanks

Thats very sad bro. In Indian terms, may be it happened due to too much of Envy. Did you take the legal steps to try find her. Insurance Compensation ?

Loosing a ride is sure Disheartening. But Loosing and Modded and Loved Ride is even more! I hope you have made a police case for the same. Wish you could get her back. [frustration]

Thanks for your words .
yeah its absolutely disheartening and such a disgraceful act by someone.

I did a complaint and Police never found it. The problem with these cars is that people steal these and sell the parts with no fear of getting caught. So people do get away with all this.

I am sure these things happen every where
