Exedy Heavy Duty Clutch Kit

Heavy Duty Clutch Kit

The Heavy Duty (HD suffix) clutch kits are perfectly suited for use in lightly modified vehicles or vehicles carrying loads used for daily driving or in amateur motor sports activities. A high performance clutch cover with increased clamp load which will transmit an increase in engine torque is included in these kits with an organic clutch disc creating a performance clutch kit with smooth take off drivability.

Catch can's as stated in the post yes they are definitely a plus point on your car. if you running a NOS that will be better than just not having it.

Catch can's definitely help .

I doubt .. none :p

So another thing I have is .. Alloy wheels.

Stock Tires are 215 R16
Since its a rear wheel drive and dyno tuned , so there was a need to have aftermarket wider tyres.

So got my car Alloy wheels, Dished.
18" Low profile with front one 225 and Rear ones 235 R18

Rear ones are wrapped in Michelin rubber. ($280 per tyre)

Alloys cost = $2500
Excellent thread enjoyed the read, i have a very lame question how do manage the insurance part or do you dish out a higher number?

Not at all surprised to see your comment buddy, but I have seen, even general queries on even most basic modifications are being suppressed in TAI , the one who talks about Modifications are considered insane or Lunatic in-fact manufacturers are considered the LORD no matter whatever crap they push to you!!!
Some kind lethal egotism I sense all the time so I generally stay off putting anything concerning to modifications or DIY stuffs.[frustration]

How don't know how to express this dilemma in any better way.!

@ Iron Rock - Insurance for my car I pay 1400 dollars a year Plus registration of $670. I haven't actually included most of the mods in my car so its insured for stock car and the insured amount is higher than what I purchased the car. If I sell the modified parts of my car I can make the money = car's basic cost

$1 Au = 52 Rs

Bendix Ultimate Brake Pads

Bendix Ultimate is a high performance brake pad that offers the highest level of braking performance in terms of reduced stopping distances, excellent pedal feel and resistance to high temperature fade.

Developed originally for use as Original Equipment (O.E.) on high performance vehicles, Ultimate is ideal for driving at freeway speeds and hard braking. Pre-conditioned during manufacture so there is no bedding-in required, Ultimate is recommended for sports, performance and prestige vehicles.

At freeway speeds and beyond, Ultimate is unmatched for sheer stopping power. Ultimate should be fitted front and rear to maintain balanced driving between all four wheels.

To support all these modifications on my engine I have to use premium quality engine oil, as the car has now done 130,000 KMS on the clock I can use fully synthetic Engine Oil by Penrite.

HPR 10 FULL SYNTHETIC

Application

Designed for use in the latest types of petrol engines including conventional, multi-cam, multi-valve, turbocharged and supercharged engines (including the new generation of high output V8 and V10 engines) from all over the world. Also recommended for engines equipped with variable valve timing. Specific examples include the VT-VY Commodore, Range Rover, Nissan, Chrysler and Jeep petrol engines, Honda VTEC engines, Toyota VVT-i engines and other vehicles that specify the use of SAE 10W-30, 10W-40 or 10W-50 oils in the owner’s handbook. Can also be used where SAE 15W-50 and 15W-40 oils are required.

Suitable for use in many gas and diesel powered vehicles, however HPR Gas 10 and HPR Diesel 5 are the primary recommendations in this viscosity range. Not recommended for motorcycles.

Customer Benefits
• Maximum engine protection at operating temperatures compared to other 10W- oils due to higher operating viscosity.
• Extended engine life by reducing formation of high temperature engine deposits.
• Reduced oil consumption due to the combination of low volatility synthetic base oils and high operating temperature viscosity.
• The low start-up viscosity provides engine protection and power retention at the most critical time of the engine’s run cycle.
• Has Penrite’s Extra Ten compared to SAE 10W-40 oils for improved protection at operating temperature.

When the engines running rich & lot of unburned fuel,in the long run can harm the cat con, well i dont know how myself but i know its not a good thing, atleast before it reaches operating temp i imagine.

I am not able to get much details about this catch can.

Have people managed to tune up there 2009 above Nissan Gtr's there?I know some tuners in Usa are doing well, but how is the scene down under.

Have you run nos anytime?
