One Lakh Ford Fiestas SOLD!!

You might have already read about this news, If not then let me make you aware that Ford Motors India has sold 1 Lakh Units of Fiesta sedan which is popular for it's drive-ability. In-spite of being old player in segment, Ford offered some irresistible discounts and face lifts which has made Fiesta to successfully remain in competition, resulting that total of 7,509 units were sold last month, in April. Speaking on event, Ford India President and Managing Director Michael Boneham said;

"After a terrific sales record in March and April, the rolling out of the 1,00,000th Ford Fiesta is a truly special moment for Ford India. The event marks a new milestone for us."

They haven't exactly sold 100000 fiesta's.This is the no. of fiesta's rolled out from the factory.Some of them were exported.
Nonetheless the fiesta is perhaps the best drivers car under 10 lakh rupees!

great achievement for ford but in my view this is happening quite later on because fiesta is in market from long time and they should have much before rolled out 1 lakh units if their strategy was correct but after sometime they chopped the price hence...
