Hi
Recently i sent my car for servicing at Honda in mumbai and there was also some wetness on the rear seat carpet due to rains. They inspected thoroughly & said your tail lights are damaged and the water is entering from it slowly. And they are charging me Rs:2400/- per taillight. [confused]

But i guess this is illogical reason. Still what you guys say?
Rest there isnt any leakage from the doors or wind shields as per them.

The tail light assy rate is correct.
But how come tail light and rear seat is connected
I dont know the exact price of tail lamps of City, but it is somewhere around the rate quoted to you. You must be aware of the fact that Honda spare are a bit costly. I had once got the wiper motor assembly changed(under warranty) @ Rs. 3400/-.
I will try to get the exact rate from the Honda dealer tomorrow.

To be honest, i am not convinced by the reason given to you by Honda dealer. How can the damaged tail lamps give way to water into the cabin.

Brother, can you post some pics of the rear tail lamp assembly with opened boot. That way i will be able to help you better.
