Yes RSM, but the front bisected grill is a bit odd on front look.

Looks different. Specially the seperation betwwen the grills looks new. I cant comment on the cars look since only the front face is visible and which isnt looking great.

I really wonder how well they will be able to penetrate a pretty saturated (manufacturer-wise) Indian market? The car per-se may be brilliant, but the life or death of the company (and the product) will depend on the sales and service network.
The sensible option may be to look for a tie-up.

Anything more than 13 in city & 17 in highway is astronomical for Micra :-)

The one-go success of Nissan Micra is doubtful in India. Though the following points have been extensively discussed in this thread but Nissan will need to work on these areas to cope up with well well-known players in this market –

-Dealership Network
-After Sales & Servicing
-Brand Image

Speaking specifically about product, The looks of Micra did not excites me much but the key factor which we all know is the pricing and features (in India) can make it well in the competition.

Nissan to sell small car in India from July

Kiminobu Tokuyama, Nissan India's managing director, told Dow Jones Newswires.

We are well on track to open the new factory in March. Production will start in May and the first hatchback... will be sold from July.

UPDATE!!
Saw a spy micra on the 100ft road yesterday night. All covered up,but the greenhouse, the circular rear quarter glass gave it away. The driver ran away like a scalded cat when he saw me, but its much easier to chase a car with a bike in traffic, so i kept up. Dint have any cam so no pic, but its big. A direct rival to i10, and maybe even i20.
