That's fantastic: It's more than the ARAI certified figure ! What was the average speed at which you drove? How was the performance of the Nano in crosswinds and during overtakings?

average speed was 60-70 while checking avrg (as per Tata we have to use this speed limit till 1000 kms on odo). after crossing 1000 i took it upto 90-95....
it performs well at all, but if you have to use brake while overtaking and speed comes down like 45-50 then you'll need to shift gear in 3rd to overtake.
but it is not a big problem as it has 624cc engine. before i was using Maruti 800, also i tried alto 800, also these car have same problem...:)

I didn't know Nano came in White colour and it looks nice, better than other shades. With The mileage is nice for a petrol car. Congrats!

Wow that's an amazing mileage number for any car, it's been quite some time since you updated this thread, how is your Nano doing? have you finished the first service?

yeah, i am getting 25+ on highways with AC always.
there is no problem in driving it on high speed. it touches 90 in no time and its quite stable also.

@dhruv. i have got 33kmpl max on a open high way constant at 70km/h with ac. approx i get 25 t0 27 in busy roads with AC.


PLEASE NOTE : Tata changed the firmware of the pre 2012 tata nano's to match the 2012 nano's BHP. there was a call from TAAS soon they released the 2012 version and also they changed the starter motor ( actually this was the second time for pre 2012 models)

Thats good FE shibu, and many are getting this millage by driving light foot.

And yes TATA is the only car maker who replaces suspicious parts of all vehicals .
No other indian company do it.
So very proud to own a TATA.

Hey manpreet, awesome nano ownership review. Also you didn't update this thread from a long time. If you got some time on your hands please do update this thread. Eager to know how nano is performing after all these years and how is Tata ASS service in chandigarh.
