Even I was looking for it.I want to take TD.I had taken once 2 year back. Although Linea was there for display and TD.

There was a little bit twist while purchasing Vista.While we were discussing about vista the SE of fiat turned out there.He was trying to convince my brother how punto is better than Vista. (Generally I had seen that if anyone goes to enquirer about punto they force to check vista)

He told us

  • Punto has better handling and strong body and its 'premium' hatchback.
  • Emotion pack advantages - like service interval display,distance to empty, etc
  • 15 " Tyre
  • Service interval for punto is 5k - 15k - 30k kms
  • 18 kmpl
  • Sporty design and powerful ride
  • All features which are in Vista VX are in punto Emotion
Now my bro was looking at me with confusion on his face.Even I like punto as I am naturally aggressive driver.So I asked him about pricing

Punto Emotion
665961 -17712 (Free insurance) - 10000 (Discount) = 6,38,249 Rs
+ Online offer to get diesel car in price of petrol (Lucky draw)
+ 6000 Rs diesel free (6 months validity)
So finally 6,25,000 approx on road

Still 45k extra than vista, so we stick to vista.

Please pass on congrats to your cousin on booking Vista. I also booked LX model on that day ( Tata Mahaustav).
Which dealer you opted for ? Also let me know have heard anythin from tata motors regarding gold coin.

Also Friend please suggest me should I go for VX ?

I recommend you to go for VX

There is hardly difference of 20k to go for VX- what you get extra in VX than LX in 20k? 20 Extra Features in 20k

I managed to get mud flap,mats + ganapati idol.
Which color you guys selected ? Vista (LX model) in spice RED was looking awesome. I personally feel with more chrome lining (VX model) will not look that well particullary on Spice RED. Have you seen VX model?

Also I got to that there were around 100 bookings . So we have 50-50 chance to win gold coin. If you get any info please let me know.

Also please let me know what things needs to be ensured while taking delivery.
If you have any information please share it.

Yes they are my friend,but having said that, being a customer of tata V2,we wanted next gen indica to be a scorcher ala FIAT PUNTO.By the way lets end this looks discussion for some other time,as they say 'TO EACH HIS OWN',and enjoy this wonderful car.CHEERS.

surfer, congratulations to your cousin for buying new vista in VX trim.Thats absolutely the best variant you choosed compared to lower one.Nothing can beat tata's cars for space they provide inside their cabins.Amazing.I too saw one new vista parked nearby my office and front definately looks much much better then older vista and is more appealing and mature.Nice negotiations and good list of freebies you could grab.When is your cousin getting the delivery and you didnt shared which colour did you choosed?
Dont forget to do our PDI list and post some good pictures as well.
