I wasn't able to connect with tata AIG RSA. Does anyone know the process ? Their toll free number doesn't have the option and when they transferred the call to RSA department nobody picked up for 5 minutes.

Called my battery guy and he took 300 rs for 2 minutes of work. Will buy a battery jumper cable when shops open.

It was raining heavily last night and I couldn't see a speed breaker plus there was water logging on both sides of the speed breaker.

Result.

Good quality ones are available on Amazon. Bought a 1000 amp one recently.

Yeah I was checking amazon but reviews are mixed so I was thinking to buy from my local car market. Btw which one did you buy from Amazon ?

Also can you please tell me if you bought tyre valves as well. I need them urgently. These road side mechanic always mess up the valve deliberately when I am not looking or standing far behind because of covid[frustration] petty thieves demand 200rs for the valve.
I was checking online , they go for 40rs a piece.

Edit : ordered these. Reviews were good. https://www.amazon.in/dp/B07FMP6F12...abc_MVVFQADG37J0SAX7P9X5?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

Bought these. Ordered 800 amp and they sent 1000 amp. Approx 2 m long clip end-to-end and big/heavy clips. Copper wires instead of aluminium found in most imported ones.

LakhanPal® Premium Car Heavy Duty || Jumper Cable Battery Storage || Wire Clamp with Alligator Wire || Clamp to Start Dead Battery || Emergency Line Truck Off Road || Auto Car Jumper Cables (1000AMP)

AmazonBasics got better looking ones, but tad costlier.

Used them to charge from inverter.

Battery got drained 3 days after charging. Due to lockdown no one was coming and today also had to remove the battery on my own and taking it the to battery guy.

And no it's not that simple, you just don't loosen the connection and out comes the battery. You have to remove all the connecting nuts fully on order to take out the battery.

Battery guy will update tomorrow after charging the battery.

It's easy if you have a long extension and a ratchet wrench. Got used to removing'em every now and then from various cars since lockdown 1.0. [cheers]

I got that t spanner from the battery guy only. And I didn't include the pictures of other nuts that were a pain in the ass to remove. Will update tomorrow.

Also I will buy a battery jump cable and a tool kit tomorrow.

Got SF sonic 60ah battery @ 4400rs after buyback of old battery (1200rs) he didn't have Exide battery in stock which would have costed 4900rs.
This one has 30 months no question asked guarantee and from my past experiences this brand always goes kapoot in 28-32 months.

That's a good deal. SF Sonic DIN60 was 5100 after buyback here and 5700 for Exide. Amaron priced in between and Tata Green costlier.

These days most batteries appear to be designed just to last a bit beyond warranty. Planned Obsolescence is Setting foot.
Or we can call it the operational life [:D]. Almost all my MF batteries died exactly near these expiry dates plus or minus 1-2 months. Only exception was the Amaron DIN50 on my Beat which surprisingly lasted 5.75 years, now showing end-of-life sympotms.

The other day got the bumper repaired but sadly the engine guard was fixed by using screws since the guy didnt know how to open the engine guard and weld it properly.
Advisor told me the part costs 2500rs. Will get it changed if the amount is near to this. Online it shows 10k.

Ugly transformer.
