New Generation BMW X5 Now Launched

Following the launch of New Cayenne, BMW India is ready to answer Porsche by introducing the much awaited, next generation X5 on September 21st 2010, at Bird Automotive, Gurgaon. Further exact information about price and features is yet to be surfaced.

is that in pics new X5? dont see much big difference..but why not these guys compete with Volvo xc90 which i think has lesser price? correct me if am wrong!

That’s the new X5, a mild makeover though but still looks proper urban SUV as always. The launch is today itself, more details to follow soon.

Update! Pricing has been revealed:

- xDrive50i (Petrol): Rs.69.5 Lakhs
- xDrive30d (Diesel): Rs.52.9 Lakhs

Whats the difference in pricing between the old and new model?


I think it will be tough competition for Touareg and XC90 as they will be competing against the brand value of Bmw!

like every BMW, this one is looking awesome. has that typical BMW aura. look at those gorgeous alloys.

The difference that i can see are the new position of the fog lamps and the X6 rims.
Apart from them,it looks like the old X5.

What I can spot is:

- New Front Bumpers
- New Rear Bumpers
- Missing Side Steps

One more change i spotted is the fog lamps are slightly re-positioned , nothing else! Everything else mentioned by 350Z.
