Thanks to @Iron Rock for sharing the spyshot of New Force Gurkha 2021. He has added the following observations:
  • Same engine: 2.6L, 90BHP. 2.2 CRDe still in works.
  • Front Suspension: Independent Double Wishbone. Rear Suspension: Solid Axle.
  • 120 Kmph on Highway seemed easy. General fit and finish miles ahead than previous gen.
  • The interiors are big step up. Dashboard is all-new and comparable to old Mahindra Thar.
  • Dashboard is Black with Beige-color roof. It’s 4-seater SUV. Captain seats very comfortable.
  • Air-conditioner is very good. No rear vents but it’s a chiller.
  • Side window is pasted and not openable. Rear parking sensors available.
  • It has rear pintle hook. Steps to roof carrier and Kenwood stereo available (might be accessories).

Well, only 91HP and meager 250NM torque, it will definitely wont be a hauler at all, May be have enough to do some good off roading, however, highway runs also may not seem quick off to start,
Plus the cabin is very basic and spartan. Spending 13.5L ie aroud 16L on road this is no cheap vehicle by any standards, people expect above average Music system, some digital experience, whiich this car fails to give. thar on other hand is very attractive package. Lets see how this car stacks up with competition.

There isn't even a proper sales/service setup. When asked for test drive of previous model, they had no clue and only option was customer car, if any at all turn up, older ones. Service centre was the same place where Traveller and pickups were repaired and no special treatment even for their bombed once-flagship Force One owners. Have to leave the car with them, will take 3-4 days to return. Outcome was similar to Traveller service, full of grease everywhere, misfit parts, missing parts. Quality was also not par in previous model. I know two previous generation owners. On one, the rear passenger window fell off completely from the beading when tried to open it [frustration].

Gurkha is all terrain accessibility vehicle, but the problem of Gurkha is the speed. It cannot be an interceptor due this restriction. Police need a swift and heavy duty vehicle and neither Innova, which the Telangana Police have acquired, nor the Gurkha can do.
