Bajaj is gearing up for the relaunch of famous Boxer brand in India, especially to target the rural sector. These spy images by Velocitimag indicates that Bajaj has attempt to add more muscles in the form of bulky fuel tank. Also the tail lamp has been replaced too. This bike is expected to make its official debut by April with price tag of approximately Rs.40,000.

Better late than never - Refreshed Bajaj Boxer BM150 has silently entered into the market and is available at Rs.43,000. The company has tuned it to produce better torque figures and targeting mainly for the rural buyers.

43k as ex. showroom price is too much. I agree Boxer was considered a very reliable bike years back but now, there are hell lot of bikes which come with that price tag and with much better facia.

43k for a 150cc bike is a decent price tag. The design is kept basic as its basically rolled out for rural market, like the doodh wallas, that's why the rear carrier is made so strong.

I read somewhere that the strong carrier can hold upto 2 gas cylinders at a time & has strong skeleton, so this comparison tells that the bike is for rural areas.

Looks far better than the previous generation and the engine specs are tempting. Couldn't really get the Bajaj's view, 150cc in across the models?? but why?

Yes looks solid a bit.Good for village ride.
Who knows, it may turn as a entry level bike for youth in cities too. With a little MS Paint job it looks better, isn't it?

150cc at 43k is good enough. Thanks to elimination of some cosmetic plastics. I heard they have adopted Discover 150cc engine without dual spark plug. In some reviews it is said that braking performance is bellow average. And how about suitability for long drives? Anybody having practical experience with new boxer?

Bajaj Boxer 150 is a miss

Some time back Bajaj Auto the Boxer in a new avatar, the Boxer 150. According to the sources the Bajaj boxer has been selling close to 2500 to 3000 bikes per month. The Boxer 150 was launched by the company way back in September 2011.Hero generates 45% of its sales from these markets. In order to increase its sales Bajaj Auto has steeped up marketing the bike in 16,000 villages. The marketing campaigns would include demo vans where the bike will be showcased and test rides will be offered. That's surprising. Seems that even rural buyers are now becoming more conscious about the looks and design.
