Need Help: Kerala - Mookamby - Coorg

the right turn is towards the end of the kanhangad bye pass. you will see the govt district hospital about a km before on the left. the right turn is in front of the famous ANANDASHRAM
Five day trip incuding wayanad, coorg, kollur will be too hectic and tiresome. if kids and old people are there in your group i wouldn't advice

Any suggetion about this plan
13th night –start 6 pm for Mangalore - Fri
14th Mangalore and Dharmastala stay at Udupi Sat
15th morning Udupi krishns temple and to Kollur- stay at kollur Sun
16th morning visit Mookambika Mon
Afternoon leave for coorg and stay at coorg
17th see coorg – evevnig left for kottayam Tue
8th morning Kottayam Wed

sbtrajesh this is in reply for the previous post. kanhangad to panathur is 44 kms, to bagamandala is 30 kms to madikeri is 37 kms.( total 111 kms.) the road although is narrow is in fine condition. as reported by friends of mine who had gone to banglore via madikeri five days ago.will take about 2.5 to 3 hours.
regarding the trip plan of yours i would suggest the darmasthala trip on the way to madikeri. either go to kanhangad madikeri, darmasthala, mangalore, udupi, kollur kottayam.or mangalore , udupi, kollur back to mangalore, darmasthala, madikeri, kanhangd, kottayam. i don't know of any road directly to darmasthala from kollur.

What i would like to say is if you enter Mangalore via Kasargod, doing the Dharmastala, coorg next would be fine.
Once you are done with these 2 all other places are in order.
i.e. Udupi-Manipal-Karkala-Kundapur-Baindoor-Kollur-Murdeshwara-Gokarna-Anegudda-Idugunji are in order.
Which can be done back to back.
If you want to go to Dharmastala, you will have to go through Mangalore-B.C.Road(Bantwal Cross Road)-then Bypass road-Panekal-Belthangady-Dharmastala.
After Dharmastala you can go to Coorg through 2 routes.
One is via Uppinangady.
Other one through B.C.Road- Puttur-Sullia-Sampaje-Madikeri.
