I'm not sure if this is something good or something bad.
Regulation of the auto Industry would have many advantages, but on the flip side, mandate could have its drawbacks too.

Good point. Maybe the ARAI will serve only testing purposes and this one regulation?

ARAI is a research organization.
National Automotive Authority will work as regulatory authority. There is not much details, so we have to wait for few months.

What i understand is each developed countries has a regulatory system. Like you keep hearing some manufacturers are calling back their cars in other countries. In India there is no such systematic system.
