It seems the Throttle Position Sensor(Throttle Potentiometer) became fault or changed its position, the AC is not working properly[confused]. For a temporary solution I have joined the wires directly. The AC will work good in running but at the idle position it doesn't.

During the recent trip to Periyapalayam temple the car overheated when it hits 90km or above. It seems that AC doesn't work if the car heat needle crosses the redline. So last Saturday took the car to the mechanic and serviced the radiator. He insisted to change the alternator and A\C belt and bearings. While changing he found that a bolt was missing in the Alternator. After finishing mechanical work went to Autoelectrical workshop and put a new bolt.
Total cost:
Radiator service = 1500Rs
Alternator Belt = 350Rs
A/C Belt = 350Rs
Bearings 2 Nos = 475Rs and 425Rs
Alternator service = 700Rs

The car is going well, done 93,000 kms. The AC is working perfectly. The only concern is Rats, its roaming in engine bay and inside the cabin. Chewed the plastics near the seat belt, will post the picture later.

i want to ask 2-3 question
1. you are still using shell remula ?i m going for the service for my vista tdi
2. your turbo problem solved for egr ? can u shear the pic. of egr?
3. did u manage to increase the fuel economy from 17-18 ?
pm me your mobile number i want to talk with u regarding my car need your advice
my car going rough after 70-80 km you can easily feel turbo lag ,engine friction sound and big engine jerking
which can easily shake all passengers in car.my car clocked 65k at odo vista tdi 2010

i had this same problem in my Indigo. It just lost its acceleration after 60-70kmph. There was also some noise from engine whenever i was in turbo-band.

Exhaust was cleaned and catalytic converter was repaired. Now it's fine.

any one knows what is the particular interval of cleaning egr in vista tdi

on the right side pipe of interocular i can see some kind of oil is it normal or is there any serious matter or i just clean it properly from out side

I don't have any idea about it. In my car the Egr was disconnected.

Recently changed all the suspensions, lower arm bush, front brake pads and a new battery. Total damage 20,150rs

The car has now clocked 96000 kms with no hassles.

is there any serious damage in your egr [surprise]
can you post some price detail price of suspensions
Nothing damaged to my EGR. The mechanic just disconnected the EGR saying that it will increase the pickup. Yup it increased.
Will post the price once I find out the bill in my home.:wink:
