A short update, gave the car to my uncle to attend DMK Teso meet, the result was 2 dents. One near left side lamp and another near right side door. Also, the rear door panels torned off and AC stopped working. All this happened in just a day itself.

Till now, repaired only the AC for 1.5k.

Past 2 days checked the mileage its 20 to 21 without AC. Not yet checked with AC.

I changed the sparkplugs recently only, anyhow will review with our mechanic.

Yup its a diesel car. I just answered to the Appu's question regarding spark plug.

I think you guys are mistaking glow plugs for spark plugs. They are two different things and work differently.

Glow plugs are just heaters to aid cold start of diesel engines.

Where as, spark plugs are required to ignite the fuel mixture in the cylinder for every power stroke in petrol engines.

Its my mistake I mistakenly mentioned heater(glow) plugs as spark plugs.

Manza starts without any wait. Not sure about the older indica diesel engines. Earlier cars would not start without preheating.

You are right HR, My whitey also starts without any wait. But my Blacky always take some 4-5 sec for pre-heating.

Short update. Car has done 76,000 kms and running strong. Current mileage is 18 to 19 in the city and 20 to 22 in the highway. Done some minor works and it is due for service.
